Missions
Silicon aims to build an ecosystem based on openness and diversity where all users (Web3 users, builders, and project developers) can participate. To achieve this mission, Silicon's growth strategy (master plan) consists of three steps.
Phase 1. Building basic infrastructure and developing products
Silicon aims to create a Web3 developer-friendly network environment in Phase 1. Building a solid foundation of basic infrastructure from outset, is crucial to achieving this goal. Silicon built its basic blockchain infrastructure using Polygon CDK. The Silicon network is easily accessible to Polygon CDK-based blockchain projects as well as existing and new Ethereum-based blockchain projects.
Silicon Network also offers DeFi services like, DEX, cross-chain bridge, and portfolio analysis tools that enhance user convenience. With Silicon's DeFi (Decentralized Finance) service, users can experience the Web3 ecosystem. The Silicon Network aims to become a gateway to the Web3 ecosystem for more developers and users by utilizing blockchain infrastructure as well as content.
Phase 2. Developing a new platform that lowers entry barriers for developers
Silicon aims to develop a platform that enables different blockchain developers to easily integrate with it. The 'Web3 Quick Starter(tentative name)' allows anyone, even those with no development experience, to create Web3 content. The introduction of this platform will result in a significant increase in the number of new projects being created on the Silicon network resulting from the lower entry barrier for project developers to enter the Silicon network. Consequently, the communities of developers and users that are formed around the resulting projects can experience explosive growth as a result of network effects. A diverse community of Silicon-based projects can foster a virtuous circle of attracting more developers and attracting more users.
Phase 3. Growth of community through social platform connections
Silicon Network aims for a blockchain ecosystem centered around a community of diverse participants.
The aforementioned ‘Web3 Quick Starter’ is a platform that is freely available not only to developers, but also to general users without a significant understanding of blockchain technology. Users can create their own identities on the platform. With the identity they have chosen for themselves, users can interact with a wide range of participants and build a community of like-minded users.
Silicon plans to connect the various projects onboarded to the Silicon Network with ‘Telegram’, a global social messenger service. Telegram is a popular platform for blockchain communities, as well as wallets, DEXs, and DApps associated with the TON Network. Therefore, Silicon team intends to develop a DApp in App based on Telegram, utilizing Telegram's rich social graph to create synergy, resulting in the acquisition of Telegram's global on-chain users and the establishment of a community where web3 content developers and Telegram users can interact. The Silicon Network will foster a community-centered environment that stimulates the blockchain ecosystem's virtuous growth cycle.
